Lightning must be booked with a minimum of 2 weeks notice and no more than 3 months notice. Appearances requested months in advance may not be confirmed until one month prior to the appearance date.
Requests can take up to 7-10 days to confirm request or notify of the inability to accommodate.
Requests are not guaranteed and may be declined if there is no availability.
Requests during mandatory school holiday breaks will not be offered/may be declined.
Maximum appearance time will be 1 hour. Any time over an hour will require full payment for any additional hour and require a 15 min break in between hours. Outdoor appearances require a 10 min break every 30 min.
Event must provide comp’d/ free parking and a space for Mascot to change.
Must provide a point of contact and provide access to water.
THE SUIT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENT. Only individuals trained and selected by MTSU Spirit are permitted to wear the suit. No renting of the suit will be permitted.
Lightning cannot make appearances at bars, political events or any events deemed unsafe by MTSU Spirit.
Academics come first. If appearances are during class hours, MTSU Spirit has the right to refusal or require a University Excuse for on campus events.
No appearance is required or guaranteed.
All fees are due 48 hours prior to the event. If Lightning or Spirit are held over time, additional charges will apply.
Cancellations must be no later than a week in advance to allow time for confirming conflicting appearances
